> I see that the new Bob Dylan album is top of your

> the kind of limp self parodies he's been churning
> out for the last 20 years? Surely there are far
> more interesting releases to buy than this
> impotent cabaret act? Surely the man can afford to

Limp self parodies? Are you kidding? His last three albums are masterpieces. Where have you been? He's moved on since 'Blonde On Blonde'. 'Love & Theft' is one of my favourite Dylan albums of all time. Try again please, it's well worth it. I hope he never retires...not whilst he is making utterly essential music and playing superb gigs. He's a force of nature.

Yes, excellent site you have here and I hope the board becomes a beacon of fascinating musical chat. Tell your friends!

By the way, The Cob internet ordering system seems to work like a dream. I ordered an album on-line last week and got it next day. Thanks, chaps.

I was a regular shop customer back form 1979-83 when I was a student in Bangor. For a while I lived in Mount Street right behind the shop so all money grant money was spent on albums from Cob (at £10 a week rent this could be done in those days...I didn't eat and beer was cheap! The house was later converted into a wholefood restaurant and I once had the pleasure of a eating one of their fine meals in my old bedroom!)

Happy memories indeed.

Hi, I'm trying to get in touch with Sheila Brook (McCartney) formally of, amongst others, Fay Ray in the early 80s.

I lost touch with Sheila after the band broke up and I'd very much like to contact her again, not only to renew an acquaintance but also to let her know about something related to the band "The Passions" of whom we were both fans and also with whom I played briefly.

If anyone can help then I'd be extremely grateful.
